The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)

The NMC is the regulator for nurses and midwives in the UK, maintain a register of all of the Nurses, Midwives and Paramedics in the UK and decide who are able to call themselves a registered nurse or midwife.

They set requirements for Nurses, Midwives and Paramedics and then take firm action where those requirements have not been met. They can remove a Nurse, Midwife or a Paramedic from the register or impose conditions.

Hylton-Potts are experts on their ‘Fitness to Practice’ Rules, and can help fight action against you or get you reinstated onto the register.

If you have a problem with the NMC consult the experts, on 020 3982 1940 or email (24hrs a day)
